Men’s Ministry at the Kirk

The spiritual vitality of the men of the church is essential to the health of families and the overall ministry of the congregation. God leads his people through spiritually gifted and empowered men, who serve as agents of his redemption in their homes and businesses— anywhere they live, work, and play. The Men’s Ministry is designed to connect and equip men through regular times of Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.

  • Thursday Morning Study led by Mike Kennison

To the best of our recollection, the Thursday Morning Men's Study has been meeting now for 25 years and will be continuing that tradition with its start-up on January 18. In order to accommodate our working men, we meet at 6:45 am in Room 213, concluding by 7:30 am each Thursday.

This Spring our study will dig into the three letters of the Apostle John, using the study guide produced by George Robertson (former pastor of Covenant Presbyterian) and Mary Beth McGreevy, and led by Mike Kennison.  The books are being ordered from our PCA bookstore, so there won't be a need to order yourselves. Any man willing to brave the early hours is welcome! Mike will be sending a schedule of the class out by email and will have hard copies available on the 18th. In order to prepare for the first class, we're asked to read through the whole of I John (just 5 chapters) before the class starts.

  • Sunday Morning Book Study

Keep an eye out for upcoming opportunities for Sunday book studies (coming this fall)!
