Welcome to A Bright Future, a visionary campaign undertaken together by the Kirk of the Hills and Kirk Day School communities.  We are launching this campaign in a long-overdue effort to enhance and renovate key portions of our facility. Our focus is on fostering growth, enriching community life, and improving the on-campus experience by creating functional, welcoming, and purpose-driven spaces that will allow our ministries to thrive.

Currently, much of the Kirk property is shared among multiple ministries, leading to congestion and logistical challenges during key ministry hours. Additionally, while our existing facilities serve their purpose, many areas can be restructured to provide better hospitality, a more logical flow, and more efficient use of space. Our congregation and ministries are growing quickly, and we must create room to serve them well.

The expansion and updates will touch many portions of the building and serve all generations. The refreshed South and East Entrances and Commons area will create a more inviting atmosphere.  Several rooms will be renovated into Adult Small Group spaces. The current gym and outer hallway will be transformed into a completely redesigned hub for Next Gen Ministries, complete with D Group rooms and a game room. A state-of-the-art gym will support Sunday night Next Gen activities and KDS athletics. KDS will also benefit from a new wing with a secure entrance, administrative offices, and six new windowed classrooms, as well as a fully renovated Library and Media Center, a dedicated Sprouts center, and additional daylight added for six existing classrooms.
